Maria holds an MBA degree from the Harvard Business School and a BS degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Outside of work, Maria enjoys skiing.
Maria is deputy head of global equity research and in addition works within the ‘secular’ fundamental equity pod with a particular focus on the consumer tech sector. Prior to joining Newton in 2012, Maria worked at Och Ziff Capital Management where she focused on investing in European food and general retail companies. Previously, she was a research analyst at Fidelity International, covering the food-manufacturing sector.
